HIKE’N’FEAST : Huts Walk experience
Hike’n’Feast is a bespoke walking experience highlighting one of Hotham’s most appealing hikes, the Huts Walk, and adds a touch of luxury to the day.
It encompasses an all inclusive guided walk, completed with a succulent dinner in a remote, eco-friendly, setting with drinks, songs, and stories by the campfire.
The Huts Walk goes to three huts, each representing an important place in the history of Australia’s Alpine region. This walk includes Silver Brumby hut, Spargo’s hut, Derrick’s hut and Mount Loch. 360° view of the High Country from the top of Mount Loch. From there you can see My Buffalo, Mt Hotham, Mt Feathertop, Falls Creek, Mt Bogong!
Easy walk on well-defined track. 18km – 5-6 hours with easier options to suit the group’s fitness level.

Starting in Dinner Plain (8km from Hotham), this short guided hike will take you to a an original Alpine hut and a breathtaking lookout. At the end of the walking loop you will enjoy a gourmet lunch, including home-made treats and fancy BBQ showcasing the local produce in this stunning natural setting overlooking the valley.
Easy 5km walk on well-defined paths, accessible to all: from toddlers to grandparents.

Follow Jean-Francois on a gastronomic journey across the world of cheese and wine, pairing 10 French and Australian cheeses to six wines from the North East Victoria! Held in the heated tipi at Alpine Nature Experience’s ecovillage and includes a short guided walk.

Had a fantastic day out at the raclette cheese lunch. A unique experience in a fantastic setting with amazing food and wine. Everything was well thought out and planned. Will be back for the overnight experience.
